New Real Estate Developments in Folsom, California

The city of Folsom, Ca is a family oriented suburban small city with a population of 72, 303 people. It’s a short 30 minute commute to the biggest city in the area, Sacramento. But unlike other areas, this is not a place you need to commute to work from. The Intel Corporation is the biggest employer of the residents in the Folsom city area. Besides the excellent work opportunities and family way of life, this is also a place for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts. With 32 miles of bike trails that include the Willow Trail and American River Bike Trail, you can not go wrong looking for plenty of space to ride around here. Then there is the close by Folsom Lake, offering different water sports, hiking, and even horseback riding.

Affordable, lower costing home communities are still being built in Folsom. Currently, there is the Lakeview Oaks at Empire Ranch and the in progress Russell Ranch community.

The Lakeview Oaks at Empire Ranch was built by the company Elliot Homes, and does its best to give modern homes mixed with natural beautiful plant life. It’s a gated community that is very close to the above described outdoor recreational opportunities; the Folsom Lake and bike trails are all in close proximity. For families, there is the convenience of multiple big name stores, and great new schools. The homes in this private community are in the 100,000s.

Then there is the soon to be finished Russell Ranch being built by The New Home Company. This will be a fully exclusive private community close to the natural attractions in Folsom. For residents there will be a furnished private clubhouse with numerous amenities such as a pool, fitness room, and outdoor family area.

For the higher price ranges there is the Granite Trails at Parkshore and The New Riata at Empire Ranch.

The Granite Trails private community was built by Woodside Homes, and the the homes here are in the low 400,000 price range. The individual homes are all two-story, modern state of the art places for single families. Each home has three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Not only that, but there are extra features included by Woodside Homes to give an extra luxurious experience, such as large gourmet kitchens and free-standing soaking tubs. The Granite Trails is also in close proximity to the nature attractions of Folsom.

The New Riata was also built and run by Elliot Homes, and the homes here fall in the mid 500, 000 price range. True high-living is found in this community, with each home having the option of special interior design packages for the entire inside space. On the outside, the houses are built in an European style that signals the extravagance and luxury you will have living here.
